Quick-change tapping inserts with safety clutch
The GSS series quick-change tapping inserts are designed for professional thread cutting applications with magnetic drilling machines. Equipped with an integrated safety slip clutch, these inserts provide maximum protection for taps by preventing breakage when the tap reaches the bottom of a blind hole. This makes them ideal for blind hole threading, while also being perfectly suitable for through hole applications.
The safety clutch automatically disengages when excessive torque is reached, ensuring consistent thread quality and protecting both the tool and the machine.
