The EKF 645 heavy duty milling head and insert system is designed for demanding beveling and edge milling applications requiring maximum performance and durability. It is ideal for processing thick materials and heavy-duty industrial environments.
The milling head (ZFR 645) features a robust construction and delivers stable, high-performance cutting even under extreme load conditions. Designed for use with larger carbide inserts, it enables high material removal rates and improved efficiency.
Standard inserts (SHM 900) are suitable for general applications, while SHM 900-E inserts with VarioPLUS coating are optimized for stainless steel machining, offering superior wear resistance and extended tool life.
The system includes clamping screws for secure insert fixation. Its modular concept ensures cost efficiency, allowing replacement of individual inserts without changing the entire milling head.
