Milling Head & Inserts for EKF 450.3
The EKF 450 milling head and insert system is designed for high-performance beveling and edge milling applications. It delivers consistent cutting performance and excellent surface quality when working with steel and stainless steel.
The milling head (ZFR 450.3) is engineered for durability and smooth operation, ensuring stable cutting results even under demanding industrial conditions. It is designed to work with replaceable carbide inserts, allowing flexible adaptation to different materials and applications.
Standard carbide inserts are suitable for general use, while SHM 200-E inserts with VarioPLUS coating are optimized for stainless steel machining, providing improved wear resistance and longer tool life.
The system also includes clamping screws for secure insert fixation. Its modular design ensures cost efficiency, as only worn inserts need replacement rather than the entire milling head.
